For some reason it seems that my MacBook doesn’t love me:

We have a long history, my dear MacBook and me, with ups and downs.. back in the “Tiger era” MacBook had a rather “bizarre behavior” (it freezed without a reason), then the “Leopard era” began: MacBook gave me a second opportunity and it all went well for a while… until last week: MacBook started again with its weird behavior! Now I don’t know what to do besides “shutting it down and restarting it” again and again…

What will be the future of my beloved -but troubled- MacBook and me?

For everyone who has asked for it -oh well, just little Doki who was the one who suggested me this as he is an experienced blogger- I have launched this blog english version , that will be the one to load by “default”. The spanish version will be at an internal directory named “espanol” and will be accessible through an option that invites spanish speakers to enter.

¿Why did I do this? Simple: a lot -if not the majority- of the time, now that I am blogging, I come up with post ideas and the almost all the references and documentation (and the articles that I want to link to) are in english… so I had the need to have a version in this language.

The news agregator Reddit has just launched a spanish version, or at least it has a spanish interface, as the Top 25 published articles continue to be in english… How long will take the spanish speaking users to start voting for their favorite articles and be able to see just Spanish content in the home page?

I have also read in Mashable a strange fact: Reddit had already launched its greek, portuguese, rumanian, italian, norwegian and even croatian versions … before the spanish one!

Will Reddit be capable to become a strong competitor of Menéame or Fresqui?

Yes, now is most common to consider a blog not only as a communication channel that allows to establish conversations with colleagues, friends, visitors that share interests, etc. but also:

• An Internet promotion tool
• A platform that can be monetized

But, should I make money with my blog? This is a question that more than one has made while starting to publish a blog -I am not the exception- and this is in part due because of the many success stories of bloggers that start sharing their thoughts with friends with such a success that they end up creating big blogs network with thousands of subscribers!

Hello world!

This is my first “personal” post, although thinking about it, this is not the real first… back in 2005 I had a blog in blogger.com, but I lost it because I didn’t update it!

And even if in my job I am responsible -among other things- of a travel network of websites content where I have the opportunity to blog, I hadn’t found the time to launch my own blog… but this weekend I have decided it: if I have been able to update my twitter often since two weeks ago, why I don’t take the full blogging plunge and publish my own day to day experiences about the Internet, marketing online, technology, events, trends and in general all what can call my attention

It is funny, but what finally made me to take the decision to stat blogging wasn’t this interesting SeoBook video where blogging benefits for Internet marketers are shown but the fact that even my bulldog had a blog and I didn’t…

I hope this is the first of many posts!
