{"id":28860,"date":"2023-01-08T17:40:24","date_gmt":"2023-01-08T16:40:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aleydasolis.com\/?p=28860"},"modified":"2024-01-09T15:50:19","modified_gmt":"2024-01-09T14:50:19","slug":"seo-recommendations-prioritization-presentation-templates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aleydasolis.com\/en\/search-engine-optimization\/seo-recommendations-prioritization-presentation-templates\/","title":{"rendered":"Free SEO Recommendations Prioritization &#038; Presentation Templates in Google Sheets &#038; Slides [Updated]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today I would like to share with you a few of templates, one in Google sheets to help you easily prioritize your SEO recommendations based on their level of effort and impact, and another to help you to better communicate and earn understanding and support for them, with an SEO recommendations presentation template in Google Slides.<\/p>\n<p>There are many great SEO audits checklists templates, in fact, yesterday I created a new section in <a href=\"https:\/\/learningseo.io\/\">LearningSEO.io<\/a> for handy SEO audits templates within the &#8220;free tools&#8221; section, which I recommend you check out.<\/p>\n<p>However, these SEO checklists tend to be issues-oriented and although they&#8217;re amazing to avoid forgetting something important to assess in your SEO audits\/analysis, these are not meant to be documents to be delivered to clients (or stakeholders involved in the implementation), as it will be harder for them to understand and use towards implementation, which is one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.slideshare.net\/aleydasolis\/what-makes-your-seo-fail-and-how-to-fix-it-brightonseo\">biggest causes of SEO Failure<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-44810 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.aleydasolis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/make-seo-recommendations-strategical.jpg\" alt=\"How to Make SEO Recommendations Strategical\" width=\"300\" height=\"482\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.aleydasolis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/make-seo-recommendations-strategical.jpg 878w, https:\/\/www.aleydasolis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/make-seo-recommendations-strategical-187x300.jpg 187w, https:\/\/www.aleydasolis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/make-seo-recommendations-strategical-637x1024.jpg 637w, https:\/\/www.aleydasolis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/make-seo-recommendations-strategical-768x1235.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.aleydasolis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/make-seo-recommendations-strategical-150x241.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Additionally, SEO recommendations that are driven by SEO checklists are usually not strategical, meaning that they&#8217;re not aligned to help achieve an SEO or marketing goal meaningful to the business, and hence, and as a consequence, even if they&#8217;re effectively executed, many times don&#8217;t achieve the expected results by decision makers.<\/p>\n<p>To facilitate understanding, strategical approach, actionability and impact, as well as to help obtaining the relevant resources and support, it&#8217;s critical to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Make them strategical and goals aligned:<\/strong> Each of the SEO recommendations should be clearly connected with meaningful goals meaningful towards the business and expected to be achieved by decision makers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Make them solutions oriented:<\/strong> Clearly tie any identify SEO issue\/opportunity with a specific action\/recommendation to execute, showing how it will support to achieve the established SEO goals.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Establish their scope:<\/strong> Specify the area \/ pages types for the scope of the implementation as well as the type of resources expected to be needed for the execution. Although it&#8217;s the stakeholders the ones that will ultimately assess the level of resources needed, it&#8217;s useful to define what type of them and the scope of the implementation for them to assess.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Define their priorities:<\/strong> To prioritize the execution of the SEO recommendations of those that are expected to have a higher impact and lower effort, and completely remove those that will have low impact, and high effort.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>An SEO Recommendations Prioritization Template in Google Sheets<\/h3>\n<p>To help you easily establish this, I&#8217;ve created and I&#8217;m sharing an <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/15dD2VFzE203ZIKD-vTqlg3Wg-YQY9a-HS5J7AT-S4jA\/edit?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SEO Recommendations Prioritization Template that you can access here<\/a> (<strong>to copy, please don&#8217;t request access, instead go to &#8220;file&#8221;
