What is a QR-Code?
Is a type of two dimensional bar code or matrix code that allows you to transmit all kind of information, numeric and alphabetical characters (in high speed) to camera equipped mobile phones or to any other device with a QR code reader or scanner.
How are QR-Codes used?
QR-Codes are very popular in Japan among marketers. They are placed along magazine’s ads and even billboards, carrying coupon offers information or URL’s (with direct redirection) where people can directly purchase what is being advertised. It is a very straightforward and fast way for “print” or “outdoor” publicity to interact with potential costumers.
